Dear Donors and supporters,
On this last day of 2010 and New Year's Eve of 2011, I would like to extend my warmest wish to everyone for a Happy New Year and also take this opportunity to report the work of the Hope School Foundation for this year.
1. We've updated our website. It is simple yet lively. Please do check it out.
2. The high acceptance rate (98.8%) of 81 high school graduate students into college is the best ever and a great achievement for all students. Every donor should be proud of the accomplishment of those students.
3. We went to China from Nov. 4 to Nov. 17, 2010 to check off the grand opening of three elementary school buildings and also personally distributed scholarships to 151 qualified students from a total of seven high schools.
It has already been 6 years since the foundation was first established in 2005. During which time, the foundation has helped built 26 school buildings in rural and poor areas in China and supported over 1000 students with good academic grades but from poor families. Total donated amount is over $440,000.00 US dollars (or about 3 million RMB). All these could have been achieved because of your generosity and kind support. We truly felt very blessed after seeing the beautifully completed new school buildings and the smiling faces of children who have been awarded the scholarships. This has further strengthened our belief to continue with our mission and that there is no turning back!

可敬的捐款人諸公：
今天是2010年的最後一天，也是2011年的除夕，心中有懷舊的惆悵，也有喜新的興奮。既感歎似水年華的無奈及時光飛逝的快速，又憧憬著經濟復甦的期盼和丕極泰來的希望。在這個新舊交替、年關更迭、繼往開來、承先啟後的時刻，一方面恭賀諸位新年快樂，亦藉此機會向大家彙報今年基金會的工作概況。
1‧我們基金会的網站已完成改版更新，內容簡潔、頁面鮮活，值得一看。
2‧基金会資助的五校81名高三同學，今年高考取得了輝煌成功，錄取率高達98.8%，此一傲人成績，值得用濃墨重彩大大地在基金会的歷史上描繪一筆，以兹紀念。有此巨大勝利，不僅可喜可賀，也令捐款資助人感到心慰、與有榮焉！
3‧我們於11月4日至11月17日赴大陸驗收本会今年資助興建的三所愛心小學教學樓，及会見並親自頒發支助金給七所高中共151名品學兼優之貧困學生。
回首過往，基金会自2005年成立迄今已走過六個年頭，在中國貧窮僻遠地區資助興建了26所愛心小學及教學樓，並支助了1000多名貧困學生，捐献金額超過44万美金，約值三百多万人民幣。正因為有衆多愛心人士如您者之慷慨大方和善心義舉方能小有所成，也使得我們深感「德不孤，必有隣。」看到新建美侖美奐的校舍及受助學子臉上的笑顏，心中更是惜福感恩。這也更堅定我們濟弱扶傾的信念和義無反顧的決心。
