Dear brother & sisters,
I want to share some wonderful things with you.
First of all, attached please find some photos which were taken at today’s lunch (11/27) in 鼎泰豐 for a little late Thanksgiving celebration with the HEAD & SOUL of Chen’s family. Look at this "Young" man how handsome & healthy he is. Nobody can believe he is only 92 years "Young". How lucky we are. He can take good care of himself and lives independent and happy life by his own. Of cause we shall sincerely appreciate 汪阿姨的loving cares but none of us "the children" do the 孝顺. According only to this point, we shall laud and pray loudly "Thanks be to GOD".
Secondly, for my personal stuff:
1. Annie and I had a wonderful trip to meet 151 poor students of 7 high schools we supported and examine 3 schools we built this year in Honan Province’s remote areas in China. It is a long story to talk. After I have managed all information and photos and posted onto our website, you can get in to view the details.
2. This Monday morning (11/22) when I went back to work, I found 2 surprises on my desk:
a. A bonus check in envelope. After tax deducted, the remains not only can cover all the costs we spent in the trip, but also have few hundreds left. Is it beautiful? I only can say "Thanks be to GOD" again.
b. A brand new computer w/ 2 big 24-inch monitors. The IT guy who installed the computer for me said: "It is the fastest and most updated computer in the whole company and nobody else has 2 giant screens either." I made a joke to James who is the head of southern California region of the company: "I got a new computer and 2 big screens. It means I need double my productivity." He said nothing but had a good laugh. The other guy Jaime who worked w/ me together over 24 yrs said: "Now you knew you got new presents the true meanings are." I only can say "Thanks be to GOD" the third time.
3. Los Angeles office wants me to do a lunch talk (12/08) regarding my mission in China to all staffs. I have no worries but tell them the truth. I only can say "Thanks be to GOD" the fourth time.
